COORDINATE Festival
Dance, theatre and visual arts in the streets of Calcata. A festival that lives in the village instead of passing through it.
Productions
Works made at PROTEO: body, voice and memory. From Oleandri to Sempre Morenti, and Domenica for younger audiences.
About us
A thirty-year story, from the experimental theatre of the 1990s to today's stage. The artists, the places and the languages change, but the question stays the same: where can art happen?
Stay,
Create,
Connect.
PROTEO ETS, founded in Rome in 1996, is a creative laboratory for the performing arts. Committed to experimentation from the start, PROTEO weaves together theatre, dance, music and visual arts to create spaces where different languages meet.
Over the years it has produced performances, trained young artists and worked with many partners. Today it brings this experience to villages and city outskirts, with COORDINATE Festival in Calcata and projects built together with local communities.
