In the medieval village of Calcata, among lanes and walls that hold centuries of stories, COORDINATE weaves together art, territory and critical thinking.
Like a system of points that connect, the festival draws new relationships between past and future, between the roots of a place and its transformation. Performances, site-specific installations and workshops invite artists, residents and visitors to explore together the bond between creativity and territory.
For a few days the village becomes a living organism: a sensitive map where every corner is a meeting between local stories and views from around the world.
2027 · La Restanza
/ To Inhabit
After the first edition, which asked the question, and the second, which strengthened the bonds, COORDINATE returns in 2027 with a new word: to inhabit.
To inhabit a place without being passing guests. To stay as a choice, and to make that choice a way of being together, building relationships that last beyond the days of the festival.

2026 · To Consolidate
From 30 July to 2 August 2026 Calcata hosted the second edition of COORDINATE: dance, theatre, music, installations and workshops in the squares, gardens and spaces of the village.
Among the most meaningful encounters were the young people of Bastogi, who brought their photographic gaze to Calcata with Amici dei Bimbi ETS, and received in return the gaze of Calcata's young people.Tra gli incontri più importanti, i ragazzi e le ragazze di Bastogi, che con Amici dei Bimbi ETS hanno portato a Calcata il loro sguardo fotografico, e hanno ricevuto in cambio quello dei giovani di Calcata.
